Hello!  We are having a school canned food drive until Christmas Break, and would really appreciate the students bringing in canned food to our class!  We are trying to help the needy.  We want to try and build a canned food pyramid!  Our Spelling Words for next week are:

Thanksgiving Feast!

Harvest Fest and Updates!

The Harvest Fest is tonight from 6-8pm!  I will be working the Jumping Castle!  I hope I see you all there!  Thank you for all the candy that was donated. 

-Our feild trip is on Monday, we will be going to Reid Park to observe Fall changes!
-We will be having a small Halloween Party at the end of the day on Monday if anyone would like to bring anything.

Hello!  I hope everyone had a great Harvest Break!

*Teacher/Parent conferences are this week. I encourage everyone to sign up for one.  The sign up sheet is on my door.  We have a new Homework Packet due this Friday as well as new Spelling Words.  Our Harvest Fest is October 28th, I hope everyone can make it, it's going to be A LOT of fun!  If you can donate a bag of candy to our class, it would help out a lot with our Harvest Fest.  Here is the list of Spelling Words for the week.  I will start posting the new words for the following week every Friday in case you would like to study earlier with your child.

Ms. Dunbar's 2nd Grade Class!

Welcome back to a new and exciting school year!  I will see you all bright and early tomorrow morning.  Here are a couple reminders for the first week:

- Turn in requested school supplies as soon as possible.

-Make sure to check your child's folder everyday, there will be important information and forms that will need to be signed and turned back to me.
