Welcome Hermit Crab! The class did so well by earning all the letters in H*E*R*M*I*T* C*R*A*B* that we got our class pet! We will vote on a name tomorrow!
-Our cookie dough, wrapping paper, and jewlery fundraiser started this Monday. Your children will earn prizes for the more they sell to help out La Paloma!
- Please make sure your child is doing their homework and studying for their Spelling Tests.
-We are talking about Trustworthiness this entire month for our Character Count.
-The class will be taking their September Assessment at the beginning of October.
-Quarter Grades will be out by October 13th.
-Our Stone Soup turned out great, and actually tasted REALLY good! Thanks for all your help! The recipe was in the Newsletter last week in case you want to make your own batch at home!
-I hope everyone is doing great! Contact me if you have any concerns or questions.

Ms. Dunbar's 2nd Grade Class!
Thank you to everyone who has already brought food for our Stone Soup we will be making on Friday. The kids are very excited about it!
-Please encourage your children to remember their folders everyday, and make sure you check them everyday when they get home. There may be important notes or information in them that you will need to see! There is also graded work in these folders so you can check up on how your child is doing on their class work.
-We have a Spelling Test on Friday!
-Our Homework Packets are also due on Friday. (Your child may not participate in Friday Fun Day if their Homework Packet is not turned in or incomplete).
-I appreciate all of the Parent Notice forms I recieved back signed for your child's August Assessment. I hope you got a chance to look over the assessment to see how your child is doing. If you are concerned with your child's score and would like to set up a conference please let me know.
Our Character Count of the month is TRUSTWORTHINESS! Have a great week!
